The Inaugural Year of the Festival was held near the fourth hole on the Saint Mary's Golf Course, and featured 6 performances of the Taming of the Shrew. Parking was situated about a quarter of a mile away from the Festival area, but as one can see from the photos below, the leisurely stroll through the woodland road had a bit of a "magical" feel to it.
